I just finishjed doing a compression test on my engine and these were the number.. cylinder 1 "120" cylinder 2 "110" Cylinder 3 "115" cylinder 4 "110" cylinder 5 "115" cylinder 6 "110" I read the faq page saying that the lowest a TT should have is about 121 min. That being said the test also says to fully warm up the engine before doing the test but was not able to do this because im the plenum and injectors are off due to new style injectors being installed and some other aftermarket parts. Question is does warming up the engine before doing the test help bring compression numbers up? Im hoping this is the case but would like to know some input if these low compression numbers would greatly effect the performance of my Z if i decided not to do any work to the block? I recently spent some money on quite a few performance parts and would hate the engine to run slugish even after installing all these parts ( 750cc injectors, downpipes, 2.5 greddy exhaust, greddy boostcontroller, lightweight pulleys, godspeed intercoolers) Just looking for some input as if these numbers are actually really that low and if not warming up the engine could be the reason for the low numbers.
